Microsoft Posts Record Revenue In 2Q 2012

Microsoft today announced the 2Q financial results. The posted quarterly revenue of $20.89 billion for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2011, net income of $6.62 billion, and diluted earnings per share as $0.78 per share. These strong results were backed by Business Division and Server and Tools Division high growth. Windows Division revenue fell 6% whereas the Entertainment and Devices division revenue grew over 15%.
