Microsoft Offices In China Were Raided Once Again By Chinese Officials

According to Chinese agency, The State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) raided Microsoft offices in Beijing, Liaoning, Fujian and Hubei once again following last week. The SAIC also raided the Dalian offices of IT consultancy Accenture, to whom Microsoft outsources financial work, according to the regulator.

Microsoft offices in China were raided last week by Chinese government officials for unknown reasons. China’s State Administration for Industry & Commerce made the visits to Microsoft offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu. Later, a Chinese regulator confirmed that they are conducting an anti-monopoly investigation on Microsoft over its Windows OS and Office productivity suite.
