Microsoft offers free Rocket League game on Xbox consoles for free multiplayer weekend

Xbox Live Gold is Microsoft’s premier service which powers the Xbox One and Xbox 360’s game ecosystem. The system allows users to access features like multipplayer, games with gold and deals with gold among others. As is the norm with features like this, it is often paywalled and accessible only to subscribers.

This weekend, Microsoft is allowing non Gold subscribers to get a taste of gold multiplayer features for free. This means that if you don’t have an Xbox Live Gold pass, you can still play multiplayer games with your friends on games like COD or Destiny for free.

Of curse, if you don’t have any games to play with on the Xbox store, Microsoft is now offering you a free copy of Rocket League to try from the 9th – 12th of June.

If you’re currently on the fence with  regards to  Xbox Live Gold, this may be an opportunity to experience it for yourself.
