Microsoft Now Accepting Apps For Windows Store From Over 120 Countries

Microsoft today announced that it will start accepting apps for Windows Store from developers around the world. It  is now open for app submissions from all developers – individuals and companies – in over 120 countries. Microsoft has added 82 new app submission markets.

Microsoft also announced a number of additional subscription program offerings for developers. All eligible MSDN subscribers receive a free, one-year Windows Store developer account as part of their MSDN benefits. There are over 1000 apps in Windows Store now and it is expected to grow rapidly as the Store is open now for all developers.
