Microsoft Mobile import dummy units of the Lumia 535 into India, handsets should follow soon

When Microsoft Mobile announced the Lumia 535 they said the new handset will be coming to China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh this month, with other countries to follow.

Now importation tracking site Zauba has confirmed that Microsoft Mobile has already imported nearly 600 dummy units of the handset into India, in White, Orange and Green.image

This suggests India should be seeing the device hit shelves sooner rather than later.

The handset features a colourful design, easy readability in sunlight on a large five-inch display, 1GB RAM and a quad-core processor for a smooth smartphone experience. It also comes with built-in 8 GB of internal storage which you can expand up to an additional 128 GB by adding a microSD card. The main highlight of the device is its front cam featuring a wide-angle lens, fit more in your selfies and Skype video calls with the 5 MP front-facing camera.

The device is expected to cost around 110 Euro or around 7999 INR.
