Microsoft is updating the Android Microsoft Launcher beta app to version 4.8.
This is a minor troubleshooting, code cleanup, crash fix, and performance tuning update readying the newest features for public release.
Besides the bug fixes, the changelog remains the same as version 4.7.6 beta, including:
- First installation experience – New first installation experience for users connected via Windows Settings.
- Cortana Integration Enhancements – Startup times have been improved, support for many more system settings such as Wi-Fi, airplane mode, etc. has been introduced.
- App launches should now run better
- Added support for sorting apps on the list for Korean, Japanese, and Russian.
- Support for navigation query.
- Bug fixes and performance improvements.
