Microsoft Is Part Of Digital India Launch, Watch Satya Nadella Talking About The Launch

Digital India is an initiative of Government of India to integrate the government departments and the people of India. It aims at ensuring the government services are made available to citizens electronically by reducing paperwork. Digital India has three core components: The creation of digital infrastructure, Delivering services digitally and Digital literacy. India’s top industrialists including Mukesh Ambani, Sunil Bharati Mittal, Birla, and many others on Wednesday committed investments  of Rs 4.5 lakh crore towards the Digital India initiative kicked off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Microsoft is also a part of Digital India launch and it believes that technology can uniquely support the government’s initiatives in key areas including: rural internet connectivity, digital cloud services for all its citizens, and communications and productivity services for the Government.
