Microsoft invades train stations in Japan with Windows Phone promotion

Nanapho.jp reports Microsoft has launched a Windows Phone promotion at two large train stations in Japan.

The two stations involved are Shinjuku and Akihabara station.

Shinjuku station (above) is the busiest station in the world, used by over 3.5 million people per day.

Akihabara station (below)  is at the centre of famous electric and gadget town.

The booths have many working Fujitsu IS12T handsets which passers-by are able to try out and also have a corner where commuters can try out Kinect games.

The event will end today at at Shinjuku Station but will continue for another week at Akihabara Station.
