Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification validates IT professional and developer technical expertise through rigorous, industry-proven and industry-recognised exams. MCP exams cover a wide range of Microsoft products, technologies, and solutions. Microsoft has recently announced that they are increasing the price on Microsoft certification exams in July 2016. Microsoft has started notifying customers and partners well in advance on April 25, 2016.

It will apply to commercial MCP exams, academic MCP exams, and MTA exams. Academic exams purchased from Pearson VUE and Courseware Marketplace will also see price changes. This does not apply to academic exams purchased through volume licensing.

If you want to save some money, try to take these exams before July 2016! Check Microsoft Learning website for more details.
