Microsoft Includes New Insider Hub App In The Latest Windows 10 Preview Build

Windows 10 Multiple Desktops

Microsoft has included the new Insider Hub app in the Windows 10 Build 9879. The Insider Hub app will be the one-stop-shop for all the latest news and announcements regarding the Windows Insider Program. Microsoft will post quests for you to try out new features and then send us feedback.

The Insider Hub isn’t pinned to your Start menu/Start screen so you’ll need to find it (and pin it!). Open it at least once so you will receive notifications from the app on important news and announcements.

Microsoft has also made improvements to the Windows Feedback app.

  • You can now sort feedback entries based on trending topics, number of Me Too, and most recent.
  • When you’re finished adding feedback, the Windows Feedback app will take you back to the category you were already in, not the list.
  • There was an issue when you tried searching for existing feedback it would give you an error and no filter anything at all – we’ve fixed this so you can easily find submitted feedback and vote on them.
  • We’ve made the screenshot button easier to find!
