Microsoft Ignite gets pushed back from May to September


Microsoft today revealed its event lineup for next year. The company hasn’t revealed the dates for its annual developers conference, Build just yet — but, the company has announced that it is moving the Ignite event from May to September (26th to 30th) in Atlanta (from Chicago). The company’s Convergence event will be happening from April 4th to April 7th in New Orleans while the Worldwide Partner Conference will be happening from July 10th to July 14th in Toronto.

  • Convergence – April 4-7, 2016 in New Orleans –  for Business Leaders seeking to explore emerging trends, discover new solutions and realize the opportunity to achieve more.
  • //Build – Spring 2016 in San Francisco – for Developers looking for the latest vision and direction from Microsoft.
  • Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) – July 10-14, 2016 in Toronto – for Partners focusing on how they can drive business growth with us and our partner channel to deliver solutions to our mutual customers.
  • Microsoft Ignite – September 26-30, 2016 in Atlanta – for IT Professionals looking for what’s next in technology and skill building across Microsoft’s technologies.

Microsoft should have some exciting things next year, and we are obviously looking forward to the company’s announcements next year!
