While building Project Origami at Holographic Academy, participants learn fundamental concepts of holographic development. Microsoft has recently published a video to promote HoloLens and its platform among developers. At Holographic Academy, developers see that the tools are in place to quickly create impactful, holographic experiences with Microsoft HoloLens. Developers at Holographic Academy deployed holographic experiences with tools they found easy to use.

While Microsoft is working hard to release development tools for their Holographic platform, Microsoft has confirmed that developers can start by building Windows universal apps and Unity based apps/games to target HoloLens.
