Microsoft Health App

Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Health app in Windows Store, taking it to version 2016.308.105.0.

The update adds a  number of new features, including an improve live tile that lets you see your current step count, calories burn and Microsoft Band battery level, and also support for pausing your work-outs when you take a break, improve distance notifications and golf tournament mode.

See the full changelog below.

What’s New:

  • Microsoft Health live tile – Pin Microsoft Health to your Windows Phone home screen to see your current step count, calories burned, and Microsoft Band battery level.
  • Introducing auto-pause – When you are taking a break during your run or bike ride, your Band automatically pauses your session. When you start again, your session automatically resumes.
  • Get distance notifications during Guided Workouts – Get a notification when you reach that distance goal during a Guided Workout that includes running, walking, or biking.
  • Play golf like a pro – If you want to play a round of golf while adhering to USGA rules for competitive play, turn on tournament mode. It will hide your step count and distance during your round.
