Microsoft, Google and others urge President Donald Trump to not leave Paris climate agreement

President Donald Trump has told aides he intends to pull out of the Paris climate agreement. It is an agreement within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change dealing with greenhouse gases emissions mitigation, adaptation and finance starting in the year 2020. President Donald Trump is a not believer of adverse climate change happening in this world, he expressed it during his election campaign last year. He once tweeted that the concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.

Major companies across the country including Microsoft, Google, Facebook and others are now urging President Trump to keep the United States in the Paris Agreement on climate change. Microsoft and others believe that continued U.S. participation in the agreement will help them manage rising climate risks and compete in growing global clean energy markets. They even ran full-page advertisements in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and New York Post.
