Microsoft Germany reportedly launched a multi-million euro Windows 10 ad campaign

It seems like Microsoft is investing quite a lot to advertise Windows 10. The company has reportedly launched a new ad campaign to promote Windows 10 in Germany. According to the report, the software giant is investing millions in promoting the OS around Germany. The ad campaign kicked off today, and it’ll end on the 17th of December.

Microsoft is apparently working with the ad agency Universal McCann, which will be creating ads that will be seen in German TV, as well as online. The company has already released a couple of videos promoting Windows 10 and Windows 10 devices, and you can watch one of them in below. The ads are, of course, in German — so you’ll need to enable translation for the captions if you don’t understand German:

As you can see in the above video, Microsoft promotes the HP Spectre x360, and the firm has also released videos promoting its own Surface Pro 4 device.

It will be interesting to see if Microsoft will be kicking off similar ad campaigns in other parts of the world. The company has already been promoting Windows 10 quite a lot, but that doesn’t seem to have helped its growth quite a lot. Microsoft obviously released a handful of videos online, and it is also releasing TV ads around the world (especially in the United States and United Kingdom) to promote the OS since its launch, but we may see another push in the near-future.
