Microsoft’s Garage project released a fantastic lock screen app for Windows Phone last year. The app was one of the best lock screen apps for Windows Phone and packed a handful of features. The app allows users to display different “blocks” or widgets on their lock screen – it can display widgets for weather, calendar, stopwatch and even maps.

However, as it seems like, the app has “retired”. Microsoft recently unpublished the Tetra Lockscreen app from the Windows Phone Store. On the official Microsoft Garage website, the company states:

“Retired. Thanks for your feedback, we learned a lot.”

As the app was an experiment, the reason behind removing the app from the store makes sense. Nonetheless, do you think Microsoft should bring back Tetra Lockscreen? Discuss in the comment section below!
