Microsoft Expands ID@Xbox Program To Windows 10 Mobile Devices

Last year, Microsoft announced the Independent Developers @ Xbox Program (ID@Xbox) which allows independent developers to publish games for Xbox One. First, developers have to apply for the developer program. After the application is approved, Microsoft will offer developers free development kits and access to its Xbox One tool set which includes Kinect, Cloud, etc for free. Microsoft is now expanding this indie game developer program to Windows 10 devices which includes Windows 10 Mobile devices as well. Using the universal Windows platform, Microsoft is targeting developers to publish their titles on Xbox, Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile and HoloLens platforms. Microsoft suggests that most of the games works across these platforms without any code change.
