Microsoft execs still rocking the Samsung Taylor

image noticed at the recent Computex Taipei 2012 event in June, Microsoft’s Steven Guggenheim demoed the Xbox Companion app using Samsung Taylor, the original Generation 0 developer device which was never commercially released.

They note the likely reason is not to avoid annoying other OEMs, but because these devices have VGA-out built-in, and also that these phones are now easy and reliable to flash with new ROMs.

While this item has no special significance, we are often jealous of Microsoft staff sporting unreleased devices.  The picture above shows that very often we may in fact have the newer phone in our pocket.
