In light of the devastating floods in Chennai, local communications infrastructure went down. Phone networks were down for more than two days and it is slowly coming up in parts. To enable communication between people in Chennai and their loved ones outside the country, Microsoft is making all international calls to landlines and mobiles into Tamil Nadu free of charge for the next few days.
