Microsoft Digital Art simulates the experience of traditional painting and drawing. It provides an intuitive and natural-feeling environment that allows artists of all ages to create art digitally. Microsoft Digital Art may be the evolution of Microsoft Research’s Project Gustav which was demonstrated last year at TechFest. Microsoft Digital Art achieves a high degree of interactivity by taking full advantage of touchscreen input and realistic modeling of natural media and brush stroke effects.

The The Museum of Modern Art at New York  will have Microsoft’s Digital Art Technology preview for the visitors to try. The response from the people has been great so far,
