Microsoft Details Changes In Windows 8 File Management Features Since Developer Preview

Microsoft today blogged a followup post to the file management features in Windows 8. Based on the feedback from consumers on blog post, developer preview, etc, Microsoft has made few changes to improve the file management experience. For example, the Ribbon UI in explorer windows will be minimized by default, you now have the ability to pin folders in start screen and much more. You can read them in detail here. My favorite change that Microsoft made in the beta release is that Explorer settings attributes can be roamed to your other Windows 8 PCs. In the “Sync your settings” UI, this shows up under “Other Windows settings.” ( See the image above)
