PC makers are teaming up for a big advertising campaign. According to Re/Code, Microsoft, Intel, HP, Dell, and Lenovo are teaming up to bring a new advertising campaign with the slogan “PC Does What?” The campaign will be announced on Thursday, and it will reportedly feature print, TV and online advertisements.
The report also claims that Microsoft and Intel are providing most of the funds for this campaign — however, it is unclear how much the companies are spending on this campaign.
Obviously, the companies are teaming up to push PC sales which saw a year-on-year decline of 10.8%. in Q3 2015. It will be interesting to see if the campaign helps push PC sales in the coming months — but, for now, we can only hope.
