Microsoft cracking down on Sexism on Xbox Live, handing out life-time bans

imageXbox Live is pretty well known for their misogynistic teens but it seems this is a reputation Microsoft is less than proud of and intends to actively combat.

According to GameStop UK Microsoft is implementing a zero-tolerance policy against users who make sexist or derogatory comments on Xbox Live.

"It can be dangerous to give adolescents a broadcast mechanism," said Kiki Wolfkill, the executive producer of Halo 4. "There are always going to be jerks out there, and if you give them a way to express that side of their personality without being seen, you’re going to see this type of behaviour manifest itself."

Offenders  face a lifetime ban on the gaming network if they cross the line.
