Microsoft is rolling out major AI upgrades to its Copilot+ PCs, redefining personal computing with faster performance, better security, and built-in AI tools. Starting at $599, Copilot+ PCs offer up to 13% faster performance than the MacBook Air M4 and boast all-day battery life, with up to 22 hours of video playback.
Key new features include Recall (preview), which helps users quickly find apps, documents, or websites by letting them search based on memory or description. Improved Windows Search now understands natural language, making it easier to find files without exact keywords. Click to Do introduces contextual shortcuts for actions like summarizing, editing, or copying text and images instantly.

These AI experiences run locally thanks to powerful neural processing units (NPUs), ensuring privacy and speed without cloud dependency. Microsoft promises users full control over features like Recall, offering opt-out options and robust security protections.
The AI-driven updates are part of Microsoft’s broader plan as Windows 10 approaches end-of-support in October 2025.Microsoft prompts users to upgrade to Windows 11 or Copilot+ PCs in order to access next-gen AI capabilities, better performance, and security.
The new features are rolling out through the April 2025 Windows update.
