Microsoft confirms being able to roll back W10M Technical Preview, hints at release this week

Gabriel Aul, head of the Insider program at Microsoft, has previously said they are working on the ability to roll back from the installation of the Windows 10 Mobile technical preview to Windows Phone 8.1, important particularly in view of reports that the current builds have significant bugs, such as rapid battery drain.

He has now confirmed on twitter that the feature will be available when the preview does roll out.

Regarding the exact timing of the preview, he has also hinted that it may still be this week, if we string two of his tweets together.

In the tweet below he says a video demonstrating the new features of Windows 10 Mobile will be posted this week…

… and in a later tweet he says Microsoft will be releasing the video and the build together.

Are our readers hopeful, and will you be trying the Technical Preview if its available for your device, despite bug concerns?
