Microsoft brings enterprise bookmarks and people suggestions to Edge browser

For Windows enterprise users, Microsoft is bringing a new feature in Edge web browser that will allow them to easily find and navigate internal resources, sites, and bookmarks. When you search for something in Edge’s address bar, in addition to the suggestions from the web, Edge will now display internal bookmarks and people suggestions. For example, enterprises users can get to your internal portal or find a colleague by entering just a few characters. This feature will work for users meeting the following requirements:

  • Be a member of a MSB public preview tenant
  • Signed in to a Windows machine with their AAD credentials
  • Edge version 1709 Fall 2017 Creator’s update or newer installed
  • Bing is set as default search provider in Edge
