Microsoft brings back Windows Spotlight for Pro users in Windows 10 Build 10547

Earlier this year, Microsoft introduced Windows Spotlight for Windows 10. The feature automatically changes the lock screen wallpaper based on your likings and lets you submit feedback about a specific wallpaper. Windows Spotlight also shows tips and promotes some of the new features in Windows 10.

If you have been following Windows news closely, you probably noticed that Windows Spotlight has been removed from the Pro SKU of Windows 10 recently, which disappointed a few users. Thankfully though, Microsoft is bringing this feature back for Pro users. In Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10547, users can enable Windows Spotlight for their lock screen which is indeed a pretty nice addition.

It’s worth noting that Windows Spotlight is based on ContentDeliveryManager which brings some pre-installed apps such as Candy Crush Saga on Windows 10 Pro (just like Windows 10 Home). We’re assuming Microsoft will remove the pre-installed apps that come with ContentDeliveryManager for Pro users in the near-future.
