Microsoft announces new simplified design for schools using Teams for Education

Microsoft today announced several new updates coming to Teams for Education. In order to make it more attractive among students, Microsoft is planning to deliver a simpler, faster and more seamless user experience for Teams for Education. Instead of list of teams on the left panel, there’s a new ‘grid view.’ Also, you can now praise students with all new announcements, Praise cards and stickers.

Microsoft is also introducing new gradebook that will make it easier for everyone to view the grades and average scores across every assignment in a given course. Teachers can also view an individual student’s progress, allowing them to observe patterns in their performance over time.

Microsoft is making it easier to share new content on Teams from external apps. The new Share to Teams feature makes it simple to create assignments or send links to your class directly from your favorite education apps and learning resources.
