During the Microsoft Business Forward event in Amsterdam, Microsoft announced the spring 2018 release for Microsoft Business Applications with hundreds of new features and improvements.
Microsoft announced that Dynamics 365 for Marketing is now generally available as part of this spring release. This marketing automation application will help companies turn prospects into relationships.
Microsoft is also taking on Salesforce with the new Dynamics 365 for Sales Professional. This is not a brand new solution, instead it is a streamlined version of existing Dynamics Sales application with core Sales Force Automation capabilities.
In addition to the above, Microsoft has included several AI features in this Spring release.
- Dynamics 365 for Sales now has AI-powered Relationship assistant that will help sellers see alerts and reminders to move relationships forward.
- The new auto capture with Outlook will help sellers save time by analyzing email to find messages relevant to specific accounts and then track in Dynamics 365 for Sales with just one click.
- And the new email engagement will offer insights from email with customers, so sellers can prioritize the most receptive contacts.
Microsoft today also announced two new Power BI Insights apps: Power BI for Sales Insights and Power BI for Service Insights. Read about them in detail here.
