The Lumia 950 and 950 XL are finally debuting in the Latin-American subcontinent, this time through Mexico. In an event open to the public, Microsoft Mexico has shown the long-awaited devices and their features to the media, partners and consumers.
The announced prices are:
- Lumia 950: $ 12,999 MXN (~U$ 783)
- Lumia 950 XL: $ 13,999 MXN (~U$ 843)
- Display Dock: $ 1,999 MXN (~U$ 120)
Movistar (Telefónica) chose to sell the single-SIM variant of both devices, with pre-orders starting at sometime this week and delivery happening at sometime this month. Liverpool should get the dual-SIM versions. Meanwhile, AT&T Mexico will also be getting the devices, but later this month (no information about the chosen variant in this case).
During the event, the Microsoft team showed some of the main features, specs, possibilities, and some interesting business numbers about the Redmond company. One of them is that 1 out of 6 people in the world use at least one Microsoft product – an excellent data for the Windows 10 ecossystem.
