MetroTube passes 100,000 downloads, version 3.3 on the way


LazyWorm has announced that their YouTube client MetroTube has passes 100,000 unique downloads and is now among the top 100 apps on the Marketplace.

The app has only been back in Marketplace for less than a month after being pulled due to YouTube API issues.

An update, MetroTube 3.3 has passed certification and should be live on the Windows Phone Marketplace within the next 24 hours and featuresimage:

  • Added ‘Watch Later’ support where users can access and add videos to their Watch Later list.
  • Fixed nasty bug where videos would occasionally get stuck on loading screen
  • Various minor bug fixes and optimizations
