Metrotube and Nextgen Reader get compatibility updates

3rd party APIs are constantly changing, meaning Windows Phone developers need to be on their toes to keep up.

The latest changes has been to YouTube and Facebook’s APIs, resulting in updates to both Metrotube and Nextgen Reader.

YouTube app Metrotube has been updated to version 4.6.2.0 with the following changelog:

  • Fix for login bug
  • Search page fixes for languages
  • Other minor bug fixes

Metrotube is $0.99 with a free trial and can be found in the Windows Phone Store here.

Feedly supporting RSS reader Nextgen Reader has also seen an update to version 6.4.0.32.

The changelog for the app reads:

  • Fixed: Migrated to new Facebook APIs, please re-authenticate your account.

Nextgen Reader is $2.99 with a free trial and can be found in the Windows Phone Store here.
