Metrotalk fixes Google Voice log-in issue

Metrotalk is the best-rated Google Voice client, meaning quite a large number of Windows Phone users were upset when the app stopped working after a recent Google Voice API change.

It did not take long however for developers Apoelin to fix the issue, with the latest version 3.2 of the app featuring the following updates:

  • Critical: Connectivity errors which had made the app unusable have now been resolved
  • Bug fix: Conversations with the same contact no longer breaks into multiple threads
  • Bug fix: The background update agent no longer gets disabled randomly
  • Various other fixes and updates

The app is $1.99 with a free trial, and if you cant quite wean yourself off this Google service, is the best you will get on Windows Phone. Find it in the Windows Phone Store here.
