Meta has officially transitioned Threads from Threads.net to Threads.com, marking a significant step in enhancing its web experience. The new update includes features to help with usability for both creators and non-creators.

The update includes improved navigation in single-column view, where users can now see their custom feeds at the top, just like the mobile experience. Meta has also made it easier to revisit conversations by accessing the liked and saved posts via main menu.

Threads now supports a new multi-column layout that users can customize. Additional columns for feeds, searches, profiles, insights, and activities can be added and rearranged with a simple drag-and-drop. A pop-up composer has also been introduced, allowing users to post while scrolling.

Next, users can now copy a Threads post as an image, for sharing across platforms like Instagram. Threads is also testing a feature that lets users upload their following list from X, making it easier to connect with familiar accounts and boost creator growth.
