Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 are coming to Xbox One this July

Capcom has announced that Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 will be coming to Xbox One this July to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary.

The first collection will contain Mega Man X, X2, X3, and X4 while the second collection will have the rest; Mega Man X5, X6, X7, and X8. Both will come with a “video originally included with Maverick Hunter X that explores the origins of series antagonist Sigma and the rise of Mavericks while shedding additional light on the events leading up to Mega Man X,” according to Capcom. On top of that, both collections will include each game’s full soundtrack with additional brand-new tracks created just for the collections. A new game mode challenging players against pairs of classic Mavericks will be available as well.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 launch digitally for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 24. They will be priced at $19.99 each. Those wanting a special retail bundle can purchase it for $39.99 in North America.

Fans eager to play more Mega Man can do so with Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2, which are currently available in the Microsoft Store for $29.99.
