The all-new fixed release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection is about to receive a “mix tape” feature.
Currently in the initial testing phase of development, the “mixtape” will give Master Chief Collection players the ability to customize their matchmaking preferences by game and game type. This would allow users to match up with those who want to play the same game modes they do, negating the small player size of niche dedicated playlists.
new features like this only consolidate the love that 343 has for the franchise
Halo Community Director Brian Jarrad posted an image of the in-development “match composer” and its wealth of options. Game size, game and game type are all there with the ability to trigger them on or off at will.
343 industries has done well to improve upon the mess left during the game’s release, and new features like this only consolidate the love that 343 has for the franchise.
With a few more updates and features added over time, and hopefully the addition of Halo Reach, Halo: The Master Chief Collection could be the greatest game anthology available on a console.
