apps-totals

apps-14-daysNearly exactly a year after the launch of Windows Phone 7 marketplace has accrued a total of 35,000 approved apps. The last milestone was 30,000 apps on the 28 August, around 7 weeks ago.

WP7Applist’s data show there was a slow down of submissions in the run up to Mango, but that the approval rate has once again increased to around 1000 apps every week.

With a new wave of handsets and the market for apps expanding with it, I expect we will be clocking off these milestones more frequently in the coming weeks.
