Mail and Calendar, Xbox (beta) and OneNote for Windows 10 snag minor updates

windows 10

We are just about 10 days away from the release of Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Ahead of the release, Microsoft seems to be busy improving the stock apps on Windows 10. Today, the company released new updates for Xbox (beta), OneNote and Outlook Mail and Calendar for Windows 10 devices. These updates seem to be minor, and they do not introduce any notable improvements. Recently, Microsoft added some new features to Xbox (beta) and the Outlook apps — for example, the Xbox (beta) picked up the ability to edit GameDVR clips with third-party apps, while the Outlook Mail and Calendar got some improvements for Live Tiles and Push Notifications.

Over the next 10 days, we will likely get more updates for some of the Windows 10 apps as Microsoft gets ready to release Windows 10 Anniversary Update to the public on August 2. In case you are wondering, the latest update for OneNote is version 17.6167.57761.0, the update for Mail and Calendar is version 17.7167.40457.0, and Xbox (beta) is 19.19.22002.0. You can get the latest updates for these apps from the links below, but do keep in mind that these updates are only available to Insiders in the Fast Ring.
