Now that Last.FM has just become 1000x more useful, the problem of getting your music taste uploaded to Last.FM remains.

If you are like me and do most of your listening while mobile, the lack of a good tool to upload your most played music to Last.FM is a real issue.

MahScrobble provides something of a solution. Due to lack of full multi-tasking in WP7 the app needs to scrobble in the foreground, not the background, so to actually work you have to start you playlist and then switch to the app.

Scrobbling to the Last.FM database only happens at the end of the track, so one can skip tracks to one’s hearts content.

The app is not completely stable, and did crash on me once, and the manual scrobble button does not seem to work at all, but it did upload most of the tracks I listened to reliably.

imageThe app is free, and if you will be a resurgent Last.FM listener it is certainly worth a download.

MahScrobble can be found in Marketplace here.
