Magic Leap’s super powers to include Mixed Reality Comics

Despite never showing off any hardware, HoloLens competitor Magic Leap appears to be building up to some kind of launch in the near future, and of course for that you need content.

At the New York Comic Con the company has announced a partnership with motion comic provider Madefire, to deliver Mixed Reality comics on their platform.

The companies promise that the result will be the ability to view comic panels like 3D paintings floating in mid-air, which can also be pinned to your room like digital wallpaper.

Madefire is already available in VR on Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR, but Magic Leap advisor Andy Lanning said their version will be crisper, more readable and feature spacial sound.

Comics will include original titles, but also content from Marvel, DC and Blizzard.
