At their media event today, Apple revealed their next generation iPhone and highlighted new features in it. One of them was called Live Photos. Live Photos are nothing but a new name for Living Images feature which is available for Lumia devices since a long time. Living Images help people turn static pictures into living memories, and provide exciting new ways for people to capture and share their lives. Living images deepens the way you capture and relive your pictures, with added motion to every one of your shots, bringing your memories to life! This is exactly what Apple Live Photos does.
How does it work?
Just like Living Images, Live Photos is integrated into every picture you take and view. It’s discreet enough to be a picture, but includes enough movement to really take me back to the moment. You don’t have to do anything special to capture a Live Photo, just take a regular photo, OS will take care of the rest.
I hope Microsoft further develops this feature instead of killing it off like Lumia Storyteller and others.
