WPArea.de managed to get an early hands-on with Microsoft Mobile’s newest and most affordable Windows Phones, both to be on sale for less than 100 Euro.

They note that both handsets feel good in the hand with soft-touch polycarbonate backs, feel well made, with solid hardware buttons.

The Microsoft Lumia 435 has a matte cover and comes in black, white, orange and green and is more susceptible to fingerprints, but these wipe away easily.

The Lumia 532 is gloss with a double shot transparent shell. The back is like the Lumia 435 made from the same soft matte material.

The WVGA screens have good viewing angles, colour reproduction and sharpness, and look a lot better than the 520 and 530 screens.

The cameras in both devices, both front and back, were nothing to write home about, with their most laudable feature merely that they were present, with pictures often noisy indoors, though better in good light.

The performance was about what one expects from a Snapdragon 200 device, with the 532 a bit faster than the 535.

WPArea.de conclude that their first impressions were positive, with the hardware having good build quality, and that the price performance ratio being good for both devices.
