According to a blog post from Logitech, one of the most legendary pieces of gaming tech is being brought back. That’s right: the Logitech G MX518 gaming mouse is out of retirement and once again available to buy.

The revamped version of the MX518 retains the shape and feel of its predecessor that enamored it to so many around the world while having its technical aspects updated to the latest next-gen features.

Some of the new features include a HERO 16K sensor along with a brand new 32-bit ARM processor, meaning the mouse has an impressive 1ms report rate.

There’s also eight programmable buttons for binding custom commands complete with onboard memory, meaning all your settings are saved directly to the mouse for ease of use on multiple systems.

As a bonus, the MX518 has a shiny new Nightfall color scheme. The sleek black and gray scheme effortlessly brings the mouse into the modern era with a ‘sophisticated and contemporary’ look.

The specifications for the MX518 are pretty simple. You’ll need either Windows 7 or later and macOS 10.11 or later along with a functional USB port. If you want the optional Logitech Gaming Software, you’ll also need internet.

You can pre-order the MX518 gaming mouse for just $59.99 from the Logitech website. It comes with a 2-year warranty, so you don’t have to worry about any faults.
