Lizard Squad takes down Xbox Live once again

XboxOneLaunch

If you wanted to play games on your Xbox One, you probably weren’t able to play games on your Xbox. Lizard Squad has once again taken Xbox Live down — this isn’t any serious hacking attack,  it’s a DDoS attack. It isn’t Xbox Live only, PlayStation Network has also been attacked by Lizard Squad. Both of the companies are aware of the issue and are working to fix this issue. Xbox’s status page states, “Unable to sign in to Xbox Live? We’re already hard at work trying to reach a solution as soon as possible. Thanks for hanging in there in the meantime. We appreciate your patience! Check back in 30 minutes for an update on our progress.”

It’s worth mentioning that Microsoft’s services has faced couple of issues today. Earlier today, we’re unable to access Word Online. Including that, the Windows Phone Store was inaccessible for a short period of time.

We’ll make sure to update this article as soon as the service is back up.
