In the above video Brandon Watson discusses the new Live Tile features with one of its developers, Thomas Fennel.
Interestingly they mention that Live Tiles was nearly cut as a feature, which leaves us to wonder what Windows Phone 7 would have looked like without them.
Of note is that towards the end the reliability of the service was discussed, and which Thomas called “very reliableâ€. Hopefully this means Mango will iron out the issues affecting many of our Live Tiles apps which tend to suddenly stop working.
