LG has launched a couple of devices earlier this year but the Korean manufacturer is looking to grab a decent market share in 2019. Now, the company has filed a trademark at EUIPO for its upcoming smartphone the G8x ThinQ, hinting at an imminent launch. Rumor also has it that we are going to see LG unveiling the smartphone in the next month at the IFA 2019.
Previously, LG has filed a trademark(shared by Korean Intellectual Property Office) for G8x and is classified under Class 9 which is related to mobiles and smartphones. The trademark was filed by LG on 2nd August 2019. The trademark doesn’t really reveal anything else but we do expect to see G8x from LG soon. The company hasn’t talked about the device officially but the trademark does prove that it exists within the company.
The G8x ThinQ smartphone is rumored to be equipped with Snapdragon 855 processor. It will have 6GB RAM, waterdrop notch, in-display fingerprint sensor at the front, and two cameras at the back, with an LED flash.
The IFA 2019 is supposed to start on September 6 in Berlin, Germany and will see manufacturers from around the world showcasing new devices.
