LG_gm750 LG of course already has a successor to the LG GM730 (pictured) up its sleeve.  The LG GM 750 Layla is a Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone that features a slim slab form-factor at 109.8x 56.5 x 11.9 mm and a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera using German Schneider-Kreuznach optics.

There is some disagreement about the screen resolution, with LG’s XML file stating 400×240, like the GM 730, but other sites quoting a more modern 800×480.

The device of course features LG’s S-class user interface, and has a new feature called “Chat on the Map” which allows participants to see the geographic location of friends while IM’ing them.

It of course has the usual complement of WIFI, GPS and accelerometer and is expected to arrive some time in Q3 2009.
