Lenovo Announces Yoga 900S, The World’s Thinnest Convertible Laptop

At CES, Lenovo announced their portfolio of next gen devices: eight new laptops, desktops and monitors across various brands. The main highlight was the new YOGA 900S  convertible. It is made of Carbon fiber and Lenovo claims that it is the world’s thinnest ultraportable convertible laptop.

Engineered for on-the-go trendsetters, the convertible YOGA 900S is astonishingly thin and light and packs a battery that lasts all day – and more. Its stunning watchband hinge is recognizably different, and thanks to its four usage modes, it adapts on the fly without ever missing a beat. The multifunctional YOGA Mouse, USB C VGA dongle, and USB C HDMI dongle complete the 900S experience.

The YOGA 900S is beautifully slim and noticeably lighter than previous models at 12.8 mm and 999 g with a new carbon fiber construction. The Windows 10 laptop features up to 10.5 hours of video playback. The convertible laptop’s 360-degree watchband hinge with four modes. It is powered by Intel Core m7 processor, Dolby Audio Premium for crisp sound and optional QHD screen (2560×1440). Also, it now supports an optional active pen.

The YOGA 900S 12-inch laptop starts at $1,099, available starting in March 2016.
