After releasing the Miix 2, an 8-inch Windows tablet, Lenovo today announced two more devices in its Miix 2 line-up. Miix 2 now comes in Miix 2 10 and 11 models which have 10.1- and 11.6-inch screens, respectively. These are real laptops and so it comes with both a tablet and keyboard dock.
The real beauty is that you can dock the tablet into the keyboard in two ways. One in laptop mode and another in stand mode for content consumption activities. These devices comes with Full HD displays, 8 hour battery life, 5MP and 2MP cameras, JBL speakers and more.
Lenovo Miix 10:
The 10-inch MIIX 2 focuses on mobility: it weighs only 1.3 lbs. and is only 0.36-inches thick. It comes with a new 64-bit enabled quad-core Intel Atom processor 1, a full HD 1920×1200 10-point touchscreen display, Wi-Fi (and optional 3G), JBL surround speakers for great sounding audio, up to 128GB of eMMC storage and a microSD slot for adding up to 32GB of storage . The 10-inch MIIX 2 also comes with a 720p high resolution 2 megapixel front and 5 megapixel rear cameras. And it has all day battery life.
Lenovo Miix 11:
The 11-inch MIIX 2 focuses on performance offer up to a 4th generation Intel Core i5 processor, greater storage with up to 256GB of fast SSD storage and a full HD 1920×1200 IPS wide-view display. The 11-inch MIIX 2 comes with many of the same leading features of 10-inch model and Windows 8.1.
Both models come in the Silver Grey color and have a mini HDMI port to display content on larger screens, an SD card reader, micro USB port and microSD cards along with USB 2.0 support on the keyboard. The 10-inch MIIX 2 will start at $499 (U.S.) and the 11-inch MIIX 2 will start at $699 (U.S.). The 10-in model will be available beginning in March.
