OnePlus promised to give users in India 5GB of free storage and an additional 50GB storage that will be valid for the first year. True to its words, the company has introduced the feature for the gallery app in OgygenOS version 10.0.4. The latest OxygenOS update is now rolling out to OnePlus 7T series smartphones. If you’re based in India and own a 7T Pro, there is a good chance that you’ll get to use the feature before most of the OnePlus users.

Aside from the Cloud Service, there are other noteworthy changes in OxygenOS 10.0.4. The update packs Optimized translation accuracy and overall communication performance. With the latest update installed, your OnePlus 7T smartphones will be able to capture better selfies at night. You can see the official changelog below.

  • System
    • Optimized translation accuracy
    • Optimized overall communication (network, phone calls, mobile data) performance
    • General bug fixes and improvements
    • Added Cloud Service for Gallery (India only)
  • Camera
    • Optimized quality of the front camera for better pictures at night

This is an “incremental rollout,” meaning that not everyone will get the update today. “The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we’ll begin a broader rollout in a few days,” reads a OnePlus forum post.
